DESIGNING MARY’S LIVING ROOM

Together with Marija Paganini, we decided to transform her living room, adding small and bigger touches to make it more bright, elegant and cozy. A combination of a chic place but at the same time simple and friendly, so that it can host a family with two small kids.

The curves dominate the space, giving it a calm, airy mood and poetic form. The protagonists, I can say, are two, the sideboard Marius and the suspension lamp Carmen.

Marius, designed from Pierre-François Dubois for Hartô, a nautical-inspired furniture piece, where the designer reinterprets the shape of a boat’s hull and creates a pattern on the doors which nod to sails and riggings.

Carmen, designed from PaulinePlusLuis Studio for Hartô having a dancer in mind. Carmen and its pleated skirt make heads turn on the red carpet. And what about the living room? Carmen brings movement and rhythm making any room in just one word: UNIQUE!

Continuing with Hartô, the space is completed with the Eugénie coffee table, designed by Studio AC/AL, the Nina table lamp with their round finishes, designed by Tristan Lohner as well as the Odilon mirror with its rocking movement, designed by Kenyon Yeh.

In order to decorate the wall, we chose the elegant shelves from Studio Hausen, which combine the warmness of wood with the slim silhouette of steel. These shelves are a decorative element in themselves and can accommodate your various decorative treasures with absolute elegance! For Mary’s living room, we chose the combination of oak and white steel.

The warmness and the coziness in the space is enhanced by a fluffy rug from Lorena Canals, the most appropriate type based on the needs of this family with 2 small children, because Lorena Canals rugs are machine washable 😉

Last but not least the space is completed with a printed canvas from Les Jolies Planches, a vintage wine map of France, bringing a French flair in the space, as well as the sensuality you need for enjoyable relaxing evenings.
